Santa Ana Winds

The Santa Anas are hot, dry winds that blow in off of the desert in the Fall and Spring. They burn away the coastal fog and bring the best waves to surf. But they also spark fires, consuming thousands of acres of land. And they are coming more and more frequently. Forcing us to confront our helplessness in the face of nature.

A magical realist exploration of climate change.
